Balchik is a Black Sea coastal town in the Southern Dobruja area of northeastern Bulgaria. It is located 42 km northeast of Varna. The town sprawls scenically along hilly terraces descending from the Dobruja plateau to the sea. During Romania's administration, the Balchik Palace was the favorite summer residence of Queen Marie of Romania and her family. The town is the site of Marie's Oriental villa, the place where her heart was kept, in accordance with her last wishes. Today, the town is one of Bulgaria's top 100 national tourist spots, famous for its Palace and the adjacent Botanical Garden, which holds the world's second largest cactus collection (after Monaco). Currently, two 18-hole golf courses are being developed around town. Albena is one of the purposely built resorts on the Bulgarian Black Sea coast and has an uniform and unique architectural style. The town is located close to other tourist, cultural and commercial centers and in the same time remains within well-preserved natural surroundings. The resort is remarkable for its 5-km long, 150 m wide beach with very fine and clean sand; the sea water is usually crystal clear, calm and warm. Located right between these two gorgeous beach resorts, each unique in its own way, these fascinating twin-villas are of a great value. Each of them has 3 floors and spreads over 150 sq.m. On the ground floor, an entrance – hallway leads you to a spacious living room, a kitchen, a bathroom and a WC. A superb covered veranda incorporates a traditional built-in barbeque (or fireplace) and plenty of space for "alfresco" dining. Moving up, the first floor takes you to 2 lovely bedrooms with terraces each, and a second WC for your convenience. The second floor is arranged like a studio, comprising of a bedroom and a living room with large terrace, revealing a majestic view of the harbor and a beautiful alley nearby. The garden of 400 sq.m has been fashioned into a large terrace, 8 meters high and 22 meters wide. There are two outbuildings, adjusted for a boiler room. The villas are absolutely self contained; they are noise and thermo – insulated. Satellite TV, internet access and central heating are also provided.
