This property is located in the outskirts of the splendid rural town of Antonovo and 50 km from the regional centre Targovishte. There is a dam and it is situated in a mountain area, so it’s suitable for fishing and hunting. The Black Sea capital Varna is only 170 km away so the vast beaches are within 3-hour drive. It is near a highway, so it is approachable even in the severe winter. The property features a beautifully renovated, redecorated and furnished two-storey house built in 1910. On the ground floor there is an entrance hall, living room with fireplace, kitchen, dining room, art studio, storage room, and a cellar. The walls are of stone and flooring is terracotta in the kitchen, dining room, and living room. A staircase leads onto the first floor which houses a living room and three bedrooms. The house mostly benefits from the beautifully painted walls and the amazing artwork done by the owner himself. The garden of 1 585 sq. m (actually, it is 2 764 sq. m) is nicely landscaped with a vineyard, fruit trees, and green lawns. A small swimming-pool 5 m wide and 7 m long is there for the owners to enjoy. There is electricity and running water, and a septic tank. A phone line is not available but it can be easily connected. The property is offered without the furniture but the price of the furniture as well as the fine collection of antiques can be negotiated with the owners.
This region distinguishes itself for its unique location and climate. The fact is, that the city is approximately at equal distances from the four major Bulgarian cities – Sofia, Varna, Plovdiv and Bourgas, which makes it the right place to buy a house. The rich history and the exquisite architecture both of Veliko Turnovo and the other towns from the region quickly attracted not only tourists, but investors too. The city of Veliko Turnovo is situated in the central part of Bulgaria at the foot of the Stara Planina mountain. It is spread on historic three hills and their surroundings – Tzarevetz, Trapezitza and Sveta Gora in the valley of the meandering Yantra river. It is an administrative centre and the capital of the second Bulgarian kingdom. The favourable climate, the abundance of cultural and historical monuments and the flourishing local crafts are all requisites favouring tourism. The medieval town is certainly the landmark of the city and one of the major tourist attractions. Spreading across the hills Tzarevetz, Trapezitza, Momina Krepost, Sveta Gora and the modern suburb Assenov, it clearly marks the two dominant fortresses of that time – the ones of Tzarevetz and Trapezitza, and the so-called New City, which was formed between them.
